Customer Discovery and Startup Validation
About Course
Customers may praise an idea and still never use or pay for it. Founders often ask leading questions, interview convenient people and mistake encouragement for validation. This course provides a disciplined process for discovering what customers actually experience and testing whether they will take meaningful action. You will map assumptions, select relevant participants, design ethical research, conduct behaviour-focused interviews and analyse evidence without cherry-picking. Practical exercises progress from conversations and observation to landing pages, waitlists, pilots, letters of intent, pre-orders or other demand tests appropriate to the venture. By the end, you will become an evidence-driven customer investigator—able to decide whether to continue, change or stop based on real learning. Successful learners receive a Scalelab Academy certificate, lifetime access and future updates, plus interview guides, evidence maps, experiment templates, scorecards and course-specific AI tools.
